In this lesson you will lean how to turn on some pretty cool features in your Address Book on your Mac. I especially like to feature to notify everyone in your address book when your information changes. I will show you how to make changes to the default add Contact form to include extra fields that you need.

Notice there is no field to add the person’s title and website URL. This was always a point of frustration for me. I knew it could be done, but it was not obvious how to get it done.

I finally figured out that you could add several fields to an existing or new contact via the Card menu. It was not quite obvious that you could do this.

In this lesson I will show you how to monitor a specific keyword using Google Alerts and how to feed the results into your favorite RSS Reader. I use Google Reader as my RSS Reader. You can use any RSS reader that you like. This is especially important if you want to monitor a specific news item, a market niche (think keywords). By default, Google Alerts sends you an e-mail whenever an article with your keyword shows up in Google.

I wanted to share a quick solution to a common and irritating problem when recording audio and video.  You know when you get the perfect video shot and you pack up your equipment or hang up the Skype Call for an interview.   You then start processing the audio or videos and realize that there are hums, AC noise in the background that you did not hear while recording.  This really makes a great video or audio recording sound really bad.   Well after spending countless hours scouring forums, Google search,  experiment with my Protools Invert plugin,  I came across Bias SoundSoap audio restoration software.   Below is a quick video I put together on how to quickly and easily remove hums, AC background noise,  etc. from a Video in less than two minutes using SoundSoap.    SoundSoap can be used as a standalone application or as a Plug-in to ProTool and the other high end audio/video tools.
